This torture I cannot stand
Boiling up inside of me
With no clear sign of land
I’m stuck at a crossroad
Whether to come or go
Each way is another dead end
As I watch the candle glow
I’m a ship in a bottle
Longing to break free
Everyone staring in
But no one helping me
When I ask the voices to leave
They just stay in my head
They tell me to do bad things
I just want to go to bed
The suffering ends tonight
For I will go to sleep

can i just ask, the last line, is it clear what i mean?
first stanza:
"Boiling up inside of me/With no clear sign of land"... I think it has potential to improve ... maybe try something like 'rupturing inside of me'... not sure about the "with no clear sign of land"
"I’m stuck at a crossroad" - you're on the ocean are you not? ... there are no roads there.. maybe try and use a different phrase to suggest your confusion "Whether to come or go/Each way is another dead end".. .. isn't really needed?
"I’m a ship in a bottle/Longing to break free/Everyone staring in/But no one helping me" .... a m a z i n g !
"When I ask the voices to leave/They just stay in my head/They tell me to do bad things/I just want to go to bed" .... whatever happened to being on an ocean? you had me really interested! From here, it sounds like it's a totally different poem that got mixed up with the previous one (stanza's)
